Has anybody noticed that on the 10a rubicon that the pinch seam is already modified from the factory? I was getting ready to do mine but they are already done. I still have to modify the rock rails but a least this is already done right from the factory

I think ALL 2013's already have the angled pinch seam. At least all that I have worked on so far. None have been 10a Rubis. But two WERE regular rubis and one was a sport.

My 2013 sport did not have them cut. Maybe they changed after mine was produced.

They did that on all the later build 2013. Some one mention it on here, can't remember now but I think it was all the Jeeps with a Jan 13 build date and later. It took Jeep only 6 years to do that. Amazing !!!

That foam stuff sticking out tells me that seem isn't water tight. I'd seal it up so it doesn't turn into a rust problem area.

Its a mid model year change. My 13 didn't have em cut but my bro and sisters in law jeeps had em cut. I started looking at dealer and it was 50/50. Talk to service and they confirmed mid model change

I am going to seal it with a windshield urethane. I am also stoked that that this truck is seems to be at least 1 1/2" taller than a friend of mine stock sport. Both of our tires measure exactly the same at 31"

The early released 2013 didn't have it cut. I got one of them with the nice exacto blade next to my tire. I was walking around the lot while mine was having an oil change and noticed they all have been cut already. My buddy's Moab is cut from the factory. I'm cutting mine soon. Along with cutting the front bumper down to a stubby.

Just took delivery of my 10/yr edition of the Rubicon this last weekend and the pinch seam has already been modified from the factory....now I just have to deal with the rock rail.
