Default 100K Miles Jeep Unlimited??

Hey guys...I've been scouring the eastern seaboard for a used JK. Two door or Four door, doesn't really matter my wife and I like both. I've found a Sahara package 2Dr with 65K miles for $15K, but it's an automatic...which is a deal breaker for me.

I've also found a Sahara package 4Dr with 101K miles for $15K. Should I have any concerns with the mileage of the 4Dr?

Both are '07.

It's a third vehicle for us and will be used mostly for weekends. I just sold my 98 Cherokee with the 4.0 straight six that I've had since high school (just hit the big 3.0 last weekend). If the JKs had that motor, I would't question it, but I'm not familiar with the 3.8L that they do have.

I just don't really want to have to drop a clutch or something fairly significant right after I buy something.

Thoughts...??

What has everyone had to replace so far, and how many miles do you have?

Thanks!!

I wouldn't purchase a 5yr. old vehicle that had 100,000 on it. Especially not for 15,000.

My jeep has 107xxx but I am rutined on everything, Brakes, Oil, ect. and it runs perfect. Check and see if they have documents on the maitnence that has been done that should give you an idea how the engine is, also have a private mechanic take a look.

I bought my 2002 explorer with 190k miles on it, ran perfectly. Mileage doesn't matter TOO much if it was serviced properly, in fact, I wouldn't worry about high mileage too much because it must have mostly been on the highway, and not abused too much like quite a few jeeps.

PS. my 07 has 71k on it and running great (and it was well wheeled)
