When I drive at highway speed, my passenger side front door gaps at the top.
1/8 to 1/4 inch depending on my definition of highway speed . Needles to say it not only makes the top loud, it really sucks when it rains.
Anyone else with this issue? Any solutions besides taking it in?

Here north of the windy city, I have no gaps when driving down the road.

 

I haven't seen this problem yet, but I haven't been looking for it -- I'll start paying attention and let you know if I see anything. That said, I do get a good bit of wind noise depending on speed.

 

No problems here other than at times I don't get them pressed down all the way. Bump it pretty hard where your arm would rest on the 1/2 window and make sure it's all the way down into the door, sometimes they take some persuasion.

 

The thread on the SEMA show had pics and video of Best Tops new offerings. One of which was sliders, somewhere, maybe on the pic of their poster, it said that the sliders would only fit on the factory half doors(though the picture had it mounted on a element door or non-factory half). Rumored to be out after the first of the year. So apparently they are making them.

I gotta take it in for th G40 anyway, so I might as well have them look. I have the typical leaks, and a missing seal on the front of the top. might as well make the dealer do the work.

 

1/2 doors since mid July. Never once have I had a door problem.
