07 JKU Sway Bar Disconnect - Bracket Broken Question
Hi there.. my somewhat new to me 07 Rubicon with the electronic sway bar disconnect has a broken bracket. Literally, the broken steel 'bar' is just snipped in half. https://www.shopmoparpartsonline.com...AaAs0iEALw_wcB
Questions:
1. Has anyone ever seen this bracket broken before? If so, what causes? Could the gearing in the disconnect module be frozen?
2. Question: Is disconnecting the sway bar ever needed for 'moderate 4 wheeling?' Like over road snow. Note: There is likely ZERO % chance this jeep will go 4 wheeling over huge rocks over logs or other aggressive Moab Like driving. I'm thinking I may just take the damn thing off and get a simple sway bar without the disconnect feature.
Tx in advance
