As long as you got the price in writing, I assume you have a set price. I got my order in writing so I dont think they can change it. I ordered 1/30/07.

I think that there may be a bit more to it than that. I believe that you need your dealer to submit/apply/register... for price protection, with DC. There was another thread, that provided some detail about this. Maybe a search for "price protection" would turn something up.
Hopefully Jeff from Donavee, can chime in here.

Man that sucks on the price increase, but it looks like I barely missed that one.

Mine was released from the factory and invoiced on 2/1/2007 so I'm guessing that one day saved me $400?

Yes, I noticed that too. Mine was ordered on Jan 27th. When I went to the dealer on Wed, Feb 7th, he printed out my order - it had the VIN on it (and Order Status Code D!), I commented to him about the increase which he did not know about!

When we were discussing prices, he told me something about "price protection" so I'm going to have to ask him about this. Unfortunately I may not be able to do anything about this as I had nothing in writing!

Does anyone know if the price increase varies depending on model, price, etc?? I've heard of increases ranging from $250 - $800.

2-door Rubicon:

Invoice increased $334 while MSRP increased $375.
