Hi, I'm looking to replace the cats on my 2010 jku. I'm looking on ebay at the systems they sell for about $200 and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these. I know they're no good if you live in ca, CO, NY or MI. I'm in Nv so I'm ok as far as that goes. I'm just curious as far as quality in concerned.

I have never had to deal with cat issues myself, but I've always wondered about these cheaper aftermarket things. My thought process up until now has been that if you can weld and install yourself, they seem like a worthwhile gamble. If you have to pay someone else to do an install then it's probably best to do it right and be done. It would suck to pay to have it done and then have something fail and redo it and waste a lot of money. Course, lot of the decision probably hinges on how long you might keep the jeep still.

On the cats,
I wouldn't expect them to last very long, at a minimum you just hope cat efficiency codes don't get set after a few weeks.
The cost of those converters are mostly the precious metals that make them work, cheaper price would have less one would assume.

IMO I'd Check for Walker Cats.. Walker exhaust is a Known quality part.
