We would like to let you guys know that we will be updating the instructions for those who will be mounting the HID (internal ballast) lights like our 15205.03 (7" HID Off-Road Lights). Because of how far back the housings are from the mounting point the soft tops may hit the lights as you try to open the top in the normal manner.
To open the top simply release all attachment points as normal. Before lifting the front release the two center latches (b-pillar) that hold the center of the top down. You can now raise the center slightly and then lift and tilt the front half of the top back. When closing the top you do the reversal and lock the center latches first and then move to the front. When you have done it 1-2 times it becomes second nature.
Sorry, this was noted in development but somehow did not make it into the instructions sheet. We felt that the wind noise developed by raising the bar was more important.
Please note: This is related to the HID type lights that have now hit the market. All other
lights do not need this revised raising and lowing instruction.

ok ive got good news and bad news.
Good News- Picked up light bar today. finally.
Bad News- the snorkel will have to be pulled out about 1 inch at the top bracket. gotta buy 2 1 inch spacers and 2 longer bolts to replace the stock ones. the bar pushes the top portion of the snorkel away from the bodyline about 1 inch.
Its gonna be at least another 2 weeks before i will be able to take pics and have everything installed. i am going to go by home depot tommorrow if i get off work in time and try to find 2 bolts about an inch longer than the stock ones that hold the top bracket of the snorkel to the windshield frame.
but it will be nice when it is all done. i have no free time for the next 2 weeks so installing this is going to be tough. but i promise yall ill have it installed before the end of march. i am itching to get this thing hooked up.

got it installed.
it took two 2 1/2 inch longer bolts and 5 nuts (3 on the top bolt and 2 on the bottom acting as spacers) ill take a pic tommorrow. but it works. it would look better if i had the ram air. the prefilter is kindof tilted because it is a little wider. but it doesnt look to bad and i am definatly happy with it. now to put the 5 lights on it tommorrow.

You can, mount only 3 of the 5 lights. Center the middle light inside the canoe. It's definatly strong enough to hold it. I plan on using this with a Harbor Freight Rear tailgate extender flipped to go horizontal to hold it in the back. Definatly will work.
