TeraFlex 2.5" Coil Lift Kits and Coils
#62
thanks. I have a couple of questions though. And i know Teraflex cant comment on the first one because they obviously don't make OME stuff haha. But what are the real differences between the Tera lift and the OME ????? Does the OME yield a bit more lift?
Also, I saw the on the RTI ramp, it got a 540 something. That doesn't seem to high, especially for a rubicon. I was expecting to see around a 900 or so....but maybe im getting my hopes up Didnt the rubicon ramp a 740 or so from the factory???

In the 2008 Wrangler Brochure that you can pick up at a dealer, it states that the Unlimited Rubicon with the sway bar disconnected on a 20° ramp has an RTI score of 644, so the TeraFlex kit improves the RTI score by 150 or about 23%!
You are also close about the 900 score. According to the brochure, the stock 2 door Rubicon has an RTI score of 822.

The Jeep was raised 3.12" in the front and 2.0" in the rear. The extra 200 lbs of Morgan on the front bumper had an impact of 5/8 to 3/4". This JK has our wheel spacers and 35x10.50x17 interco tires on the stock wheel and it puts the tire just over the line for flare coverage. Some light trimming will be needed with the front air dam. Always tighten rubber bushings in their neutral (driving) position.
I wheel my JK pretty rough and it sees some serious rock crawling out here in AZ. I'll post some pics of your product being put through a true and rigorous test on 4 great trails around Sedona this weekend. Thanks for your help via the phone earlier, too.

Hey, Joe. As you know I am going to start this install Thurs, probably wrap it up on Fri. What do you mean to tighten the bushings in the neutral position? Any other tips or tricks? I'm stoked to get this on the rig.
