I'm still lost!
Can someone just tell me what do i need to buy/do? I don't want to run into any problems while installing the lift or after... i was about to order the TF 2,5" BB & TF discos, but now looks like i need a lot more parts to get this working.
My Jeep: 08 4-door sahara w/rubi wheels/tires...
Now what should i order to make this work?

If the 2.5 amount of lift is a problem that can be corrected by a rear track bar, then I may as well look at a SkyJacker 2.5 Suspension lift (no hockey pucks). I want 2.5 inches of lift.

TeraFlex has seen some JK's that needed drilled and others that didn't. Jeep has not been consistent with the placement of the mount . Some link mounts will clear just fine while others are too close. We have not found a reason as to why Jeep did this. And to make matters worse is that this affects all JK models but is hit or miss.

I have not seen the brake lines being an issue with rubbing. If they are making contact with the sway bar, you can bend the brackets in a bit more and they will clear. As far as the links being to big goes, the link ends (round part with the bushing in the middle) have a diameter that is considerably larger than stock and uses new bolts that have heads that extend out further as well. The bolt heads is what will make contact with your wheels and this could be fixed if you could mount the links on the inside but the larger diameter link ends come into contact with the axle mount and this prevents it.

This is an e-disco issue. If you disconnect with the factory links, there is a chance that they'll over extend and flip forward on an extreme flex (as opposed to returning back to normal) and may get damaged.

A rear adjustable trackbar will not solve this. Wheel spacers or run stock length shocks will.

Since you have a Sahara, I would recommend NOT installing the new rear extended sway bar links. If you do that, you need nothing else and you're good to go. Most people I know like to disconnec their front sway bar links for the trail and so I typically recommend that you get sway bar discos as they make this easier to do.

I'm going to intall the lift first, then determine what I need to do. Like Tereflex said, there are several differences in the manufacturing, so instead of ordering something I don't need, I'll wait and see.

No, the amount of lift is not the problem. The new rear extended sway bar links and its hardware can be if you do not have aftermarket wheels with less backspacing or if you do not have wheel spacers to run your factory wheels.

It's just that rear axle swaybar link mount. We have seen 07's and 08's that needed a new hole drilled, while the others didn't. To make it worse it didn't matter as to which year, 2 door, 4 door, X, Sahara or Rubicon.
