Any plans to sell just the mounting kit itself? Would really like to purchase just the kit as I'm up in Canada so I wouldn't be able to get the fire extinguisher shipped cross border.

 

We've done this in some limited instances before. However, this current version of the kit ties in closely with the particular extinguisher, so I cannot say for sure whether we can do it at this time. Contact our sales department (see above for contact information).

 

Annie was supposed to call me back, but she never did. I was supposed to be testing it on my 2013.

Is it true that your mount only works with your specific extinguisher?

 

Yes that is true. The mounting is designed specifically for the diameter and the neck design. I'm on vacation until next week, so I cannot follow-up on your contact. But, I think they're all in today, including Annie.

 

Does the extinguisher come separate from the kit? I just opened my box and only found the bracket...

No it hasn't. I don't know when it will at this time. I suggest contacting sales@dietechoffroad.com to let them know you're interested. It gives us a good gauge of the demand or lack thereof.

 

Okay, didn't realized this and ordered the kit and extinguisher. If you like, I'll take delivery and try it on my 2012 and let you know what happens. IF it doesn't work, what can you do?

Thank you for being willing to try it out. Have you installed the bracket sans the extinguisher? That'll be the first gauge of whether or not you should refuse delivery. Any specifics should be addressed through sales (see contact information in previous message).
