Seat Mounted Fire Extinguisher
Die-Tech Off-road is releasing our seat mounted fire extinguisher kit for the JK and JK Unlimited. Our kit includes the bracket, hardware, and fire extinguisher. This is a complete bolt-on solution and requires no drilling. The fire extinguisher is a rechargeable 2.5 lb ABC.

We will have a stock of the kit in 1-2 weeks which includes production and painting. The price for the kit is $56.99. These pictures are of the pre-production test unit. Initially, our kit will include this same extinguisher. In the future we will release a setup that allows you to adapt the bracket for your own extinguisher (if there is a demand).
Testimonial:
Before this solution I had my fire extinguisher mounted to the same location using a make-shift solution.
I had the opportunity last Fall to use it on a TJ. On the trail his power steering line pulled apart and the fluid caught fire on the engine. I was able to jump out, grab my fire extinguisher, and put the fire out before he was able to get his extinguisher.
You need a fire extinguisher on the trail. There are a million things that can happen. Seconds count. That fire was growing and as it was his 1.5 pounder wouldn't have put out the fire.
