Default Toyo Open Country M/T

I know you don't sell Toyo brand tires but do you know if 35x13.50x15s would fit on the 15x8" MB72s? Or any 13.50" wide tires? Thanks!

Default Lightest alloy wheels for the money?

I want to run 33s, and am looking at the Duratracs, in 33x12.50x15. Are the Black Rock wheels in 15x10 ok clearance wise without a lift? Would I be better off with 15x8 and those tires?

While I have you, are there other even lighter rims than the Black Rocks or MBs, that would save me weight at the wheels? Are there lighter tires than the Duratracs out there that offer some modest wet weather traction?

I have an 08 JKx 2 door. It has 17s now. TIA.

Tire size 35x13.50-15 will mount up on an 8" wide wheel but this is pretty wide for an 8" wheel and will most likely cause excessive tire wear. I would look for something that is 10" wide in this case. We can special order the 15x10 Black Rock D-Window 909 if you're interested.

I'm partial to the KM2 but a lot of members here also like the Wranger MTR w/Kevlar. Here is the link with all the 35x12.50-15 tire models we carry.

With stock suspension, the 15x10 4" BS Black Rock 909 mounted with 33x12.50-15 is going to stick out further than the 15x8 3.75" BS MB72 and will also sit a 25" closer to the inside which is going to cause rubbing. With stock suspension I would go with the 15x8 3.75" BS.

Weight wise, the 15x8 MB72 is the lightest alloy wheel we carry (19lbs) in these dimensions. As far as the tire weight goes, the DuraTrac in the 33x12.50-15 size is the lightest all-terrain model available with a weight of only 50lbs.

Do you currently have any 35x12.5x15 MTR/K's in stock? I need one 15" black mb72 and one 35x12.5x15 mtr/k for my spare.

I have the one wheel available but unfortunately the 35x12.50-15 MTR w/Kevlar is on backorder and we are completely sold out. We are hoping to receive more stock late December but this can not be confirmed by Goodyear at this point.

Thanks for the quick reply. Since all I really need is a spare "just in case" because I blew out my other one, is there another MT tire that runs the same size as the mtr/k? If I were to run a different spare would it cause any issues if I were to actually use it since the other tires are a different tread pattern?

Thanks!

I live in Michigan with lots of salt on the roads during the winter. Am I better off with the black or polished finish? I like the look of both in the mb72's but want something that is low maintenance and will still look good after winter.

Either one would be fine for you.

The MB72 comes in all matte black and mirror machined. Both finishes have a protective clear coat
