If anything a large tire with small rim is better for airing down than the same tire size with a big rim. You just have more rubber to work with until you get to the rim. I'm no expert, but I think it's fairly commonsense. 15" was the standard wheel forever and people put huge rubber on it. These huge rim sizes are a fairly new fad.

After severral checks, rechecks, and re-rechecks, I've finally got all the rubber contacting the road, and a great daily driver pressure, and super O/R pressure, for lazy days when I don't feel like airing down.

Makes perfect sense to me, as I'm running my DuraTrac 33-12.50x15's lower than the original GY 17"(oem size). And I get quite good off road performance with my daily pressures, even off road, though it is still better aired down.

I just ordered mine from local discount and they matched it. Man rubber went up. One wheels on backorder so

anyone know what the actual height of this set up is 15x8 mb72's with 35x12.5x15 km2's. Picking jeep up in a little and need to use the programmer and don't have a measuring tape
