Tire height is typically measured following the contour of the sidewall to the top/bottom of the tread. If you were to factor this into the measurement, the overall diameter will be close to what Falken has listed on their site.

I got my wife to help me measure the tire the way you recommended and it is better but still only 34"s. I apologize or the ousy pic, didn't realize it was that bad untill I down loaded to furom. I will pm you anymore ?'s

This is not so cool, I was looking at the Falken's too, one because I'm a poor cheapskate and two because I had a set of the High Country's on my XJ and loved them (really best of both worlds tire). This is lame though, if you're getting a 35" tire why does a tire that when mounted/inflated/on the ground only measure out to 33+"?

It sorta makes me wonder what do you get when you order a 33x12.5x15?

I still may go with this because of cost, but Falken needs to step up and make a correct height tire.

Awesome looking rig, I love the rope swing idea for your daughter

My 33" 12.5 r15 duratracs came out to 31.75" floor to top not measuring the curves as mentioned above.
