Trail Ride - Jan. 30 & 31 Skyline WMA - Alabama
A few of us are planning to ride the 45,690 acres at James D. Martin "Skyline" WMA which located in Jackson County near Huntsville, AL. To find out where it is located use the meeting place location listed below to get an idea on where the ride will be. Post up if your interested in going for one or both days. We plan to get a hotel near Huntsville for the night of Jan. 30. There may be camping.
*We have considered Alabama's hunting season and what I have found it is the last weekend of Bow only hunting.
This ride is open to anyone, any experience level, stock or modified who is looking to have a good time!

you haven't thought very hard and long about alabama's hunting season. I'd postpone if I were yall. The locals that own land in that area don't like 4 wheeling as it is, but they REALLY don't like it during deer season. Just a suggestion.

I REALLY dont like people hunting while I am wheeling. As for the hunters.... what are they going to do?? Shoot a bow and arrow at my jeep? lol... i would be forced to unleashed the hell of a bump-fired 75rnd drum from my ak47. As I call it... "$40 bucks in 4 seconds" lol
but about the trail ride... i should be free (as long as I do not have to fix anymore expensive parts on the wife's car)

I know it's FJ's, but it can give you a pretty good idea about Skyline.

Skyline Ride
Seriously, give 'em time . . . they like to keep their options open till the last possible moment.
And regardless of what you do, there will always be one or two that will claim that the ride was a secret, and that no notification was ever posted (I'm eventually going to use that one myself - especially if it's raining Jan 30-31).

You should build a fire in the back and drive around with burning wood. At stop lights you can reach back and warm your hands.
