OK, I just spent the past weekend in Tellico. I went up Fri morning and rode Fri & Sat. It rained ALL day Friday, so all of the trails were more difficult than normal.
We tried School Bus first on Friday. In the rain, it was impossible. Even if dry, it would definitely be a lockers & winch kind of ride.
Then we headed to Guardrail. The bypass on Guardrail has gotten much easier. It should be doable without worrying about a winch. Of course, the bypass at Helicopter Pad is still a piece of cake. Trail 5 was much much easier than it used to be. 4 is still very easy.
We did Upper 2 Saturday morning. I REALLY don't recommend this for anyone running a hard top or worried about body damage. Definite lockers & winch.
Lower 2, Slickrock (trail 9), Peckerwood (trail 7) and a small portion of trail 8 were closed. I did not ride any of trail 6, so not sure what condition it was in.
