Default Northshore 4x4 Overnight At Paradise

Northshore 4x4 will be holding its first overnight/Campout October 17-18.

"Byom" Bring your own meat to cook, Club will provide a Large grill to cook on, Ice chests to keep it cold till you cook, sides and soft drinks for dinner. We will also do some sort of breakfast, maybe a Hot breakfast. You will need plates, forks, knives, etc. Also bring tents, sleeping bags, etc. We will have two big bon fires, one at the pavillion and one at the beach. We will have some limited power to the pavillion via generator and there are bathrooms on site. Bring toilet paper. This is a kid friendly event.

We will meet at Hammond eastside elementary the corner of Hwy 190 and Hwy 1064 Saturday at 10:30am, Leaving at 11:00am to head to the property. We will ride once during the day, once at night, and then again the next morning. It will be 10 dollars for members and 15 dollars for non-members. We are limiting this ride to 35 vehicles. Please make sure you bring lunch and drinks for the rest of the event. Drinking will only be allowed after all riding is done at the end of the night. No drugs. This is an LSU BYE week.
I am most likely going to this... post up if you are interested. If you are definitely coming, let me know, I will let Northshore 4x4 know (they are trying to get a count on the number of vehicles). The property is real close to Hammond, and is pretty challenging (but manageable for stockers). Hopefully it cools off by then.

Hmmmm. Real tempted. If I can get my new lift on by then, I might just have to attend.

Thanks, mkjeep.

Yeah the guys say the property is saturated; isn't October supposed to be a "dry" month?

Anyway, there is a Louisiana 4x4 Halloween Night Ride saturday at the Easleyville property for anyone interested... a little farther drive. I may try to go. PM me if anyone wants details.
