LA4x4 BIG EASLEY NIGHT RUN - Easleyville, LA - Saturday, July 17, 2010
#14
The two keywords for the trip were: muddy and slow
Overall it was fun, this little JK still surprises me what it can do in pretty much stock form (only upgrade is the tires.) I haven't disconnected the sway-bar yet either, but both times I ran there it didn't seem necessary. The lack of lockers/limited slip was a bit noticeable this time around, but only in one or two instances. Mainly my fault for stopping at the absolute worst possible spots I could.
Didn't make it home unscathed though. Was introduced to another member here with a bang so to speak. The tailgate is toast as is the spare mount. Not sure about the bumper or anything behind it yet. There might be a small dent in the pan behind the bumper, haven't had time to inspect it thoroughly. On the bright side no one was hurt, that's all that matters.
