A frame is at least 350. I was about to buy a summer top anyways. With a summer top i would have to buy a header which would be 50 plus the top at least 100. So for an extra 150 bucks i can get a complete soft top.

It's really not that bad, I have 12.5 inch pro comp extreme mud terrains and it's still the same. Although the gear box does get a little hot so I cut a piece of carpet to fit over it.

This is for whoever asked how loud it was without carpet

YES! I need to know about those. I'm about to fabricate my own if there's not a good product out there. My battery terminals are now officially full. I think the nut has like 1.5 threads holding the accessory wires to the post.

Looks like an electrical short waiting to happen. I'd run a seperate fuse block on the firewall. Those terminals are a little on the excessive side.

I would suggest using an optima yellow top, they are meant for this exact purpose. They come with a terminal on the top as well as I e on the side so you don't have to run every wire through the same terminal.

Micah plans to have so many wires hanging off these things that no way will a short be possible as no shorting agent will be able to make it past the nest of tangled wiring.

Stopped to help out a fellow JK owner at the 565/Research Park overpass this morning. Hope the police catch the guy that side swiped him and then ducked into the arsenal. Not sure if he is a member here or not.
