I've also got a Superchips programmer and from what I've been reading, the combination of the programmer and the air intake can sometimes make the fuel mixture too lean and cause a pinging under load. I like the intake but haven't decided if I'm going to tape up part of the hole to make it a little more restrictive or keep the stock box installed and sell the intake.
have been thinking about putting stock airbox back on and installing a snorkel though.
