It looks like a faulty pinion bearing, but they have to finish taking it apart to fully diagnose. He offered to overnight the parts and get it back to me by tomorrow, but I'll be out of town until next week. I'll let you guys know how it turns out when I get it back next week.

So far good customer service though...

I saw those pix earlier ......... HOLY CRAP! Dunno if I have the cajones to drive my Jeep up to a ledge like that. Unless the angle is weird or something, that is just crazy.

Default Local Tires

Hey folks. I'm working on getting the tire situation squared away. As previously mentioned, I'm getting 285/70/17 KM2s. Locally the best price is $1510 out the door from Big 10 Tires with Peoples Tires coming up second with $1613. NTB wanted $1648. Does anyone know of any other tire shops around town to check out? Any experience with Big 10 or Peoples?

I bought my Nitto's from Topline Tire in Madison. Pretty much compare-able in price to Big 10.
I think Frankie (username Sushi) on this board works at the Topline on University in Hsv. You might try pm'ing him to see if he can hook you up.
