im assuming the "death wobble" isnt trying to cross hwy 72 after too many adult beverages? soooo what is it? and should i be concerned with large tires?

I had it happen once in my old lifted '95 Grand Cherokee, going down the interstate while pulling a boat. Scared the hell outta me. I don't know of a definitive answer to what causes it, but most folks think it is due to worn out components (ball joints, tie rod ends, mis-aligned front ends, etc.). Maybe the act of towing the boat + some worn out component + the bumpy interstate all added up to it. It never happened again after that one time.
As long as your front end is in good shape, larger tires won't be a issue.
