Hope he had a snorkel on himself. Can you imagine having to clean that thing after that. He's got mud now in every single crevis in the vehicle.

Update on Cooter oil change, tire rotation, zipper fixed. they called to tell me I had a stripped stud (ladies don't get excited) on my wheel and said the drive shaft would not be covered or the pan he thought it might be the housing (I don't think it is, JB weld if so), the boot only comes on the shaft and it's $758.00......they said abuse is the reason....so I go to Huntsville drive shaft hes says he can make one but can't give me a price until he sees it, so across the street I go to Rocket city, Dan says the front? it's back ones that are catching on fire......HUH he said that he knows of a few people going down the interstate for a few hours with (4 1/2 in. lift) and the grease in the shaft gets so hot from the angle poof on fire, he told me around $800 for both shafts, so I leave and get out in my Plum Crazy Daytona and the Dealer is calling my phone to tell me if I want (Hell Yeah) they can cover the drive shaft but not the pan..........I guess I'll be out less than $40 for all that work they did and a gasket and some tranny fluid............

Randy the shaft boot clamp rubbed up against the tranny pan and bent it just by one of the bolts just enough to make it leak slowly, the same kind of thing happened to Justin's rearend cover on the ride but his was leaking alot more than mine..........On BDS's web site they say that you don't really need a new front drive shaft but, at full droop of the drivers side it may rip the boot by touching the tranny..........the newer aftermarket drive shafts are narrower

I think as long as I say off the rocks I'll be fine(as in no full droop) thats what did it anyway

Randy, they didn't try to blame the lift, they know it was on it when I bought it.....just the old abuse excuse
