Gear Install Decision
Well, decided to give Rocket City Offroad a shot at installing the gears. At $600, the piece of mind is worth avoiding the potential consequences if I were to screw it up. Plus I would have had to purchase some additional tools.
Taking it in Monday for the install.

Are you in town? I thought I saw your Jeep cruizing down Rideout Road at lunch time today. Only saw the Jeep from a distance, but looked like yours with aftermarket black wheels, and a roof rack.

Stumbled across this interesting thread - haven't had Wilbur in the rain much, but when I have, he's stayed nice and dry inside. If I ever end up with a leak problem, may try this fix.

It's crazy how different the terrain is out west. I lived @ WSMR in New Mexico back when I was a kid, and can remember riding our bikes out on the test ranges (until the MPs showed up and chased us off). Kids on bikes + live missle and tank ranges =
I don't think we ever got close enough to any live tests to get hurt, but they still would chase us around.
Ah ............ memories
