How about a group lunch next Thursday? Where is good for everyone?

So needless to say big brown will be bringing me a set of superiors.
I replaced my rear brakes pads and no more squeeking. Driver side pads were pretty worn, almost twice as worn as the pass side. I checked the axles and no signs of bending. Tires look to be rolling straight when I look at them in the mirrors.

Hey Tony - when are planning to do the control arm skids? Would like to come by to see what the install looks like and can lend a hand, or could just provide moral support.

Planning on tackling it tomorrow late morning along with installing my Crown rear brake lines and pulling the Solid diff covers to grind them for clearance for the e-lockers to function properly. Install for the rockstar skids looks to be pretty easy actually. I think it should take about 2 hrs working at a slow pace for those.

Default Gearing Question

Question for any gear heads:
If I change the gears ONLY, are the only things I need a new ring and pinion and a new differential cover gasket?
Thanks for any insight. Looking to move to 5.13s with the new lift and 37s.
Beefing up the axels will be next.

5.13's is probably a really good idea if you are going to 37's. I wish I knew how to advise you further. You could probably PM Eddie (Wayoflife) and he would answer you. He is a freakin Jeep Genius. Anyone on the Huntsville crew have any advice on this????

I am excited for you man. New shoes on my ride really made the difference. I may have missed it, but what tires and wheels did you decide to go with?
