Anyway... just thought I'd introduce myself. Hope to see you around.

welcome Donny

Looks like the Jeep Jamboree will be making a stop in Cullman(Stony Lonsome) May 28-30. But they need to work on the Trip Name.

Default Tellico Ride (see trip details in The South section)

I suspect most will be watching the game this Saturday, but I'm planning to head out around 5 AM that morning for Tellico. There are seven or so other forum members meeting there for a couple days of riding (most are staying in a campground nearby).

I've done this a half dozen times this past year for backpacking trips in the Smokies. Will take a little over 3 hours to reach Murphy, NC where the others are staying. Will meet them at the campground around 9:45 or at the Tellico trailhead around 10:00. Will ride the trails for 7-8 hours, and then head back that evening. Should be back in Huntsville between 9-10 PM. Long day, but should be a blast.

Let me know if you're interested in joining me.

If I had my new tires, I'd be going with you. But from the pix I'v seen it looks a little much for my stockers.

A few more pics just for yucks.

Denny2565 makes his daughter play in the mud (yeah, that's opposite of what most parents would do, but seems to be working).

Trying to find a pic that gives a feel for the steepness of this climb, but not sure I can.

Nice Mud Pits, and if you find them too easy to cross, you can enhance your mud pit adventure by dragging a big tire behind you (note tire left side of pic).
