Anybody in the Huntsville area need a powertank? I got a brand new Powertank pkg. b that has never been filled. It has the mounting bracket, handle, head cover, hose, and fill gauge. I'm going to post on craiglist and a couple of other forums. I paid $550 for it but I need cash for my TJ build. I'll let it go for $400. I also still have a full Mopar cover that cost $250 selling for $100. Have fun on the ride tomorrow.

Man it was muddy... I left around 12 to spend some time around the house... 40mins with the pressure washer and then 30mins by hand to get it clean.

Default Skyline Camping Area

Posted these pics over in the Skyline Ride Thread. Jason, Brandon, and I had a great ride today. Will post more JK pics tomorrow. Whew!! Long, but fun, day.
Welcome.

Most of the campground - I took the shot from a fire pit area that would probably be a good spot for the JKs.

If it doesnt rain the week before the trip... then yes for about 75% of the trails. If it rains, you will want a tire set of mud tires. My 33 ATZ were not all that hot in it this weekend.

I must disagree, if you would have seen the "stuff" Gary and I found you're going to need a pretty well equipped rig. A winch was an absolute must. We ended up winching twice in about a 10 minute timeframe. We also found a pretty intense .4 mile rock climb.

Update on CB issues....

Took ant. mount off to check and found alot of dirt in the connect where the ant screws in ( fail in when I swapped ant.) I cleaned the mount and then test the system. I still had SWR readings in the 3s. I then took my extra coax cable and ran it to the ant and the meter. SWR was in the high 2s... started to adjust the ant. and I am now back down around 1.5.

I am guessing that when I got the dirt in the ant mount and then places the ant. on top of the dirt that it burnt up the coax cable when I tired to transmit???

Any suggestions or comments are welcomed.

Do you not think that he could get to the camp site and then ride with someone else on the rougher parts?
