The key to a good sounding CB is the ant. and mic. You need to make sure that your ant is above the roof line of the Jeep. The more above the roof line, the better the ant will work. Then you will need a swr meter to adjust your ant. I have one that you can use. Also, I bought a used RoadKing mic for my CB. I think you could ask anybody that had a CB that rode last time that I sounded good. You can also go Jason route... I travel the interstate all the time, so it is nice to have one that is not just for trails.

That will be next. I have a few parts that I can make it out of. I have seen them made out of pvc. But I am not going that route. I have some left over sch. 5 stainless pipe to make it out of. May even do a snorkle kit. I am not that big on deep water. I may leave it for now to keep from having to get a tuner to fix the fuel with. The exhaust was a bargain at 70 bucks installed. All I need to do now is sale the mini Jeep and have enough to get my other welder. I only want 250.00 out of it all that is needed is fuel and a drill to spin the engine with.

Hope none of you local Steel Blues do this . . . just doesn't look right to me. Maybe it's because it doesn't look to be lifted.
Edit: Just hit me - looks like that old VW "Thing".

Man, I almost got the TrekTop instead of a factory soft top ......... glad I didn't. What is up with the wing flaps right behind the top corner of the rear doors? I aint no engineer, but those have to add a couple of MPG's due to increasing lift, right?
And that Thing is kick ass! I dig old air cooled vdubs.

If any of you guys are on FB, be sure to vote for JPTwinz's Jeep!

Funny as hell that they have a basically stock S-10/Colorado/whateverthehelltheycallit truck, that I don't think is even 4WD.
