The wife helped out. We had it done in just a little over an hour. Also hooked my CB up. I still have to build the bracket for the antenna to mount to the spare tire.

Search through Dennis' threads for a great CB antenna mount idea. I'm using the same one he is.

It is the 2.5 lift from Rough Country. Very easy to do.

I like how Denny2526 has his set up. I have a Wilson 1000 Mag mount that I like to use and would like to mount it higher. I am in to the radios a little more and like having illegal power behind them

x2. That's what I am currently running. I like the fact the spacers are steel, instead of poly / rubber.

I will be getting a CB before the next run. But know very little about them. What is everyone running, and are you happy with your setup?

I have the cheapest CB available ($29 at Walmart) a 4' Firestik antenna, homemade mount, and a decent coax cable. I may have spent $70 total for everything. It transmits fine, receives great, and didn't cost a fortune. For our pusposes, on the trail, I see no need to spend $$$$.

I picked up all my stuff out at Pilot on I-65.

Yes they are Xenons and are waiting in the wings for the 37s which I havent ordered yet, nor have i ordered the lift. Dont want all this stacking up in the garage too soon before I get back in Nov.
