I'd say go for the kit but add the 3/4" spacer to the front only. My Jeep had a terrible rake and I corrected by adding a spacer to the front. Otheriwse the kit seems perfectly sufficient. I'm enjoying the 2.2 shocks as well so I think you'll be happy with it. Don't forget to call Ben at Rough Coutnry and let him know you are a JK Forum member you'll get something like a 15% discount. Also being in AL you'll have your order next day!!!
