Just came across this thread, been in several forums. I'm in Madison Al. What a long thread. Huntsville could start it's own forums site. I'm a noob. Bought a 09 silver rubicon several months ago and loving it. My bmr hardly sees the light of day anymore : )

We should be getting some rides together soon (HINT, HINT to all the others on the forum), and you should join us if possible.
Don't worry if your JK is a stock Rubicon...it's still a Rubicon and will make it where most of these losers can't.
Just kidding guys!!!
Where are you at in Madison (north, south, etc.)

any of u guys had linkage trouble, my jk has 2500 miles and the linkage jumped off today, it looks like it was some kind of plastic peice of crap holding it on the shift linkage coming out of the t case , my wheels came in today and my tires are at the tire store and now i have broke my jeep , i was wondering if u guys had any simular problems or a better than stock fix for this problem, i manually shifted it into 2 high to get it home ,i noticed since day 1 which was not very long ago it does not shift very crisp like my xj or older jeeps or my 1/2 ton dodge p/u ? is this normal because of transfer case drive setup?

Thanks JK-Rubi and Wilky. I'm in Edgewater, close to the Arsenal.
After i bought my rubi, son had to have a wrangler and he bought an X. Just got back from the smokies. Jeeps are fun up there : )
I've made just minor mods so far, but would like to add fabfours bumpers, small lift, wheels, and 35s at some point.

well, I feel like I own a real jeep as opposed to a mall crawler. I yanked the carpet out last night after mine filled up in the rain storm. And after cleaning it up, I can tell you, it ain't going back in. To much damn work when it gets rained in.
