For anyone else planning to go, we could meet up in the parking lot of Walmart on Drake/S. Parkway (across from Parkway Place Mall) around 7:00 AM. Anyone?
I wish I could go, but I'll be going on vacation the end of this week. Have Fun!

Thanks Jeff - hope you and the family have a great vacation.

We'll check out those weird noises from the Silver Streak's drive shafts on our next outing.

Sounds good Randy. Catch you next time.

By the way, there are several stock JKs that plan on being there from the best I can tell. Mountainside is a perfect place to go for a "novice" as they can drive most of the trails, and around many of the obstacles. Even the areas that a stock JK isn't able to handle are accessible by nearby trails so you wouldn't be "abandoned", and would be able to watch some of the others maneuver their vehicles on the tougher spots.

Here's a post from one of our previous trips that has some pics and a little more info, plus there's a pic upstream from this post of Denny tutoring his daughter in the finer points of off-road prowess ---> https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/south-49/huntsville-alabama-tennessee-valley-chat-46853/#post769901
