you did say M-16 correct??? The real deal?? I've got two AR15's; one is chambered in 5.56 and the other is in 6.5. It's been a while since I've messed with the real thing though. I shoot as much as possible. Usually at a friends house in Elkmont. I'll let you know next time to see if you're in town

Default Muffler Mod

For those who are interested in the cheap and very simple muffler mod here's the scoop:

You need the following tools;
Sawzall
Sockets
Brute Strength to get OEM muffler out

Here's the muffler I used
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
Magnaflow Part# 10426 $63.95

And the clamps
http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...4294784141+115
Dynomax Lap-Joint Band Clamps Part# 33226 $13.95 ea (need 2)

Install is simple and shouldn't take more than an hour; let me know if anyone needs a hand.

Also enjoyed meeting up with you guys today. Saw some more neat mods, and we figured out what the clanking sound was coming from JasonC's front suspension.

Another ride in the near future sounds good.

By the way, there is a pistol (?) range over at Skyline on the west side of the WMA.

Very straight forward.
. . . until you can't get it tuned 'cause someone left the glove box open, or tilted one of the seats forward a half inch, or had the radio on FM instead of AM (yeah, I'm exaggerating a little, but not much).

I spent 3-4 hours on mine the other night, and finally found a ground that was good. I know the first 2-3 times I tuned mine, I thought . . . hmmm, what's the big deal. This last time was an absolute pain.

Nope! We were listening, but figured you'd gone out of range. Denny has gone from pitiful (his first CB) to Mr. Step-on-You for miles with his new set-up. First we have to tell him to lower the gain on his Mic on the way back from Skyline, and now this. He's going to be getting the big head - but I'll cut him some slack since he suffered through that first travesty of a CB setup for months.
