King of the Hammers 2015!
#31
GenRight has reserved 12 spots for us and 4W2H on the KoH Experience run Saturday morning led by Tony Pellegrino. First dibs on those spots will go to folks who can take a warrior with them on the run and who've helped provide transportation (and maybe a little cooking help) during their stay. All your help is GREATLY appreciated!

Also is Tony planning to lead us up the actual Hammer trails or around the open desert?

Here's the link to the event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1495...y_type=regular
From the description: "This year, Tony Pellegrino is leading a trail run on the actual KOH course on the Saturday following the main event (February 7). Bring your own rig on the very same trails that the race cars tore up the previous day with Tony as your guide!"

King of the Hammers is only 2 months away!
If you haven't been to KoH before you don't know what you're missing, so you really should do whatever it takes to make it out there this year.
JK-Forum will be teaming up with 4 Wheel To Heal again this year to show a group of wounded warriors a great time. More details on that as we get closer to the event. We will again need seats for warriors and their caregivers.
Since this has become a pretty huge event for us, Bill Craig (DesertJeep) and I Scott Ditch (BigLow) will be working together to coordinate things. I will focus on caravans, campsites, and extra-curricular activities while Bill focuses on our collaboration with 4 Wheel To Heal.
Important Dates:
1/30 – Hammertown Opens – Registration begins!
1/31 – King of The Motos Qualifying – Pre-Running
2/1 – King of The Motos
2/2 – ULTRA4 vs. SRRS Shootout
2/3 – 4 Wheel Parts Qualifying
2/4 – Polaris KOH UTV Race
2/5 – Smittybilt Every Man Challenge Race
2/6 – Nitto King of The Hammers
2/7 – KOH The Experience – Trail Rides for Enthusiasts
As we did last year we'll count on folks who plan on arriving early in the week to secure a large campsite for us. Arriving by Wednesday, the 4th, will probably be early enough to get a good chunk of land.
We hope you can join us. If so, please let us know what day you’ll be arriving (you’ll definitely want to be there for the Every Man Challenge and Main Event) and how many empty seats you have in your rig if you’re interested in providing transportation for a warrior.
Attending:
1. BigLow (arriving 2/4)
2. DesertJeep (arriving 2/4) (2 seats for warriors)
3. Maertz
4. TheDirtMan
5. sm_rubi
6. Mr Big Bear (arriving 2/1)
7. ade (arriving 2/4)
8. smittycm (arriving 2/4) (2 seats for warriors)
9. EasyE
10. Buckshot207 (RV arriving 2/6) (1 seat for warrior)
11. HolyMolyRacing (RV) (Buggy seat for warrior)
12. rangercliff (RV arriving 2/1) (Leaving before race)
13. jk gypsy
14. MIKE948 (RV)
