Hungry Valley OHV 6-7-09
We are going out to Hungry Valley OHV to do some running around and exploring the area, so we know what we mite run into at the mega meet .with so many people going i would like to see what is out there and have a day of wheeling a place i have not been . here we go this is the plan i would like to meet at the south entrance or the 4wd practice area around 8 - 8:30 am. http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=34.70...z=18&t=h&hl=en All are welcome and i will start a list here . if you would like to meet us there please post up
Orange County Jeepers will be meeting and leaving from Fuddruckkers 23621 El Toro Rd Lake Forest, CA At 6:30 am and if your on the way please pm me with your number and i can call before we get to your area on the way up and we all can meet up off the fwy or something also cb channel 4 if you have one
Four-Wheel Drive Area
A 10-acre site adjacent to the Aliklik Campground has been developed to provide an area where 4-wheel drive enthusiasts may test their personal capabilities and that of their vehicles. The practice area contains eight man-made features that replicate conditions and terrain found throughout California's backcountry. Visitors may operate their 4-wheel drive vehicles on their own.

If you would have set this for a Saturday, I could/would have likely made the trek . . . but on Sunday, the wife's day off, she wouldn't appreciate that very much.

Put me down for a "maybe". Still need to get committe approval. I've been wanting to check this out too. I won't be at the Mega Meet because we'll be on vacation.
Do they sell passes at the south gate?

Sorry ty sunday seemed better for people few have to work on saturday she wouldn't want to go out she didn't come last weekend ?

Yes! They sell passes at the gate and thanks for reminding me. My Adventure pass is expired, looks like I need to run to Sports Authority and take care of another years worth of adventures...
