Okay for far too long the San Diego JKer's in the North have been having all the fun! Planning the Suds & Grubs, social events and runs! Well your day has finally come to stand up and be noticed (sort of speak ). At the last Suds & Grubs there was a lot of talk about having the August Suds & Grubs further south to make it more convenient for some of our other SD peeps.

There are 84 SD JKer's registered on JK-Forum so there has to be at least a few further south than Scripps Ranch who want to meet there fellow JKer's. And please don't think that you have to have your Jeep finished to start showing up to the S&G, runs and events. There's no better way to make informed buying decisions for your mods than to talk to someone who's already been there and done that...you can gain the benefit from their mistakes!


We are looking for suggestions as to where to hold the August S&G. Like electing a president, your vote counts so how bout a suggestion or two and let's get he ball rollin'! Since most of your NC peeps don't know where the cool places to hang out are we are asking for your help!

We will pool the suggestions together and post a poll once we get back from the Niagara Rim Trail weekend! So chime in before August 11th.

What say ye? Speak up and be counted!! Sorry to all the other SD JKer's I missed down south (south of Scripps Ranch) but the peeps listed are all people we've met at the various runs or social events. Your vote counts too and we'd like to meet you to put a face to the screen name we see on the various threads.

Just FYI, some 46% of the SD registered JK-Forum members have joined since the beginning of the year so there should be some new voices in the SD JK community that should be heard!

There's a pretty sweet Irish pub in Grosmont center. There's plenty of parking, good Beer and decent prices. They should be able to accommodate if you guys are interested.

 

My vote is Oggi's or McGregors in Mission Valley.

 

Hey Dave - sounds like both you and Andy have some good ideas! Keep them coming...and we'll post a poll at the beginning of next week. Also, we're talking about a Coral Canyon camp trip so we can discuss that at the s&g.

I moving back to Brawley, CA, from Seattle, and would love to join up with the San Diego JKers. It's an hour and a half drive, but the only other close place is Yuma, AZ. When and where do I sign up?
