Big thanks to all the organizers, I had a blast. It was great meeting people and putting faces to names. Camping was awesome (Evil Fish). All those videos were cool and now I want to eventually hit all those trails. I will try to sort through and post up some pics tomorrow. Had a good time doing the slot too. Thanks again everyone, it was a blast.

Out of the shower so now I can type without clogging the keyboard with dust. What a great time I had. I only met about half of my fellow newbs and am loking forward to meeting the rest at later gatherings. Thanks to all the mentors for the great info. Thanks to WOL and his prettier half for all their efforts. Thanks to Mel for his generousity. I think I'll leave the Jeep covered in dirt for awhile so the neighbors can look on with envy. Hope everybody had as much fun or more than I did.

Artpics - how do you post more than five pictures in one post? When I upload I get a message indicating I've hit the max of 5 pictures.

i am now ready for the next trip i bought a sleeping capsule
This means no more wheeling out and driving home on my own. Ohh and lots more HONEY and BEER
On the way back down the trail i encontered a signt i will not forget which was wheeling through the deep water crossing in the dark with all the lights illuminating the crystal clear water that was so cool.
I then see lights in front of me stopped said hello it was Gunny who had just left work
i think he smelled Dougs cigars and the booze wafting through the canyon, he told me the trail had changed quite a bit as the park service had blasted all the obstacles and packed them down.
Thanks for putting the ride together.

still eating the pastrami sandwich from siggys and aired up in the dark while eating Sushi
but went with the poor mans version which worked out quite well for me. Mine also comes with a power ranger pillow case which the cabellos one doesn't!

Some of us took a little run to the mini grand canyon today before leaving.
