Exclamation Head up

Just a head-up, due to the enourmous size of our group, we will be changing out the location of where we will be doing breakfast. Instead of IHOP as was planned, we will now be meeting up at Siggy's Restaurant in Temecula at 8:00 AM. Siggy's is on Hwy 79 and if click on the link below, you will get a map to where it is:

Siggy's - Temecula Info

Siggy's is an order at the counter kind of place so there will not be any issues with getting separate checks or waiting to be waited on and so things should move a lot more quickly. Please let me know if you have any questions

Update - We will be meeting you all out at the HQ in Borrego springs... Also we plan on camping assuming we can get out early (7 or 8) on Sunday Morning...

We will be bringing a small grill that anyone is welcome to use...

Oh, and there will likely be fresh made doughnuts in the morning...

i know there have been some questions regarding time frames here's the scoop.

from temecula, it takes about an hour to an hour and a half to get to the borrego springs visitors center. from the visitor center, it takes about 10-15 min to get to the trailhead.

if you were by yourself and confident in your abilities and don't take anytime to sightsee, you can probably get from the trailhead to sheep camp in about an hour. of course, the same is true coming back out. however, with a group our size and many of the JK's being stock, plan on 4 hours or more.

for those of you who can only stay for the day on sat, we will try to make sure that at least one mentor can lead the group out.
