Smile Coyote Canyon Pre-Run

Just got back from the Borrego Springs Jeep Jamboree, October 17-19. One of the trails we ran was Coyote Canyon to Sheep Camp. I am happy to report that I was able to make the run in my stock JK "X" Unlimited and got just a few scrapes and scratches. Just kidding - none at all. There is about 18" of water in the 3rd water crossing, which will not be a problem for you new guys and gals. The only damage suffered in our group of 20 stock Jeeps was a sidewall failure on a Goodyear MT/R. Moochie, from this board, was also in this stocker group and we both had a great time. Other "stocker" trails we ran included, Font's Point, Calcite Mine, Palm Wash, Pumpkin Patch, 17 Palms, 5 Palms, and a lot of time in the dry mud hills just west of the Oh My God Camp Ground. Two of the JJ Trail Guides got stuck here and had to be winched out. None of the stockers got stuck because we didn't have to follow the Trail Guides. You are going to have a great time next weekend. Plan on it !!

Default Woohoo!

Looking forward to it!

Not newbies, but my brother and I will be there to help anyone who needs it and to enjoy the festivities!

Toad is the schedule still the same 0800/25th at IHOP?

We'll still be there for the day run, but take our names off the overnight list. My wife had wrist surgery this week -- she's OK 4 wheeling, but spending the night would be too uncomfortable.

O.K. I can't go.

The 25th is my Birthday and I am turning 50. I am sure my Wife has plans for me.

OK. No more fence sitting. My stock Rubi and I will make an appearance. As it stands right now, I plan on camping too.
I will be bringing two of my three stepsons as well.
Warning!
Do not leave anything edible unattended. They are always hungry.
See you for brekky at the IHOP.

I'll put my hat in the ring. I've done this trail in my YJ. This will be a first in my stock Unlimited Rubi. Craig
