I am gonna miss this trip! I will be further south of you all in Glamis, since the season is ready to begin. That's right time to get sand in every crevis going 100 mph. Maybe I will see some of you on the trip down that way..... have fun everyone and be safe!

That will be a blast Jake!!!! I miss glamis being that is only an hour and half from my house.... I have not been there in two years. I think we need a glamis trip! Have fun eating sandwiches and sand burgers....

Questions...

is this "newbie run" going to be from AB State Park to sheep camp and back down...

or all the way out the Coyote Canyon way...? roughly 20 miles as the crow flies... (too much?)

how is the trail from sheep camp to Coyote Canyon? (same, better, worse)
just for future refrence it looks like it would be a blast.

You cannot drive all the way through Coyote Canyon and out the other side. You used to be able to, but now the center section is closed to vehicle traffic, so you can either do North Coyote Canyon or South Coyote Canyon-- but not both straight through (unless you are on foot).

The newbie run is the South section and will start and end in ABSP in Borrego Springs.

OK, well that leaves the north end for another time...
glad to have people on here that know about this stuff.

Thanks Doojer
