Since i hacked my evap temp sensor, the a/c is pretty inviting lol
Once the highs were starting to tease up to the 70s, my top went down, meaning mid March. Even if I wanted to put it on, it's buried in my mom's garage right now.

Mine is likely goin up Sunday mornin at the shell station before the pull to kingman...thinkin about it. It will at least be bolted back on, probably be 'tired of the wind' by the time we're ready to head home.

'tired of the wind' - tell me about it! That one day coming back from Logandale was brutal with the doors off! It's not so bad on non-windy days.

Attempted to reduce the 'swing' of my whip antenna some with some 1/2" steel tube and some nylon inserts in it. We'll see how it works, went a lick too big on the diameter so it makes a little noise. If it ends up working I'll drop the 56 cents on new nylon bushings to straighten it back out

Also finally relocated both tweeters to above the roll bar, sounds much better!

That'll be great going up and down the 15 by the strip everyday.

Any pics of the antenna? Did you relocate the factory speakers?

I think I'm going 215 > 95 > 15 if I can. 15 is just a mad house!

I could snap a couple pics of it, the tweeters are just moved straight up about 2" so they project over the roll bar instead of into the roll bar.

here is the antenna mod. It's 1/2" rolled electric welded steel (lowes) with 3/8" nylon bushings that are drilled to 13/64 to slide over the antenna. It's certainly strong enough to hold it in place pretty decently. I had originally thought of brake line tubing, but it would just bend with the leverage on it from the antenna. I redrilled my antenna mount so that its pressed up against the tire (my mount is just angle iron bolted to the tire carrier, can see where it used to be). It's definitely dropped some of its whipping action down, it doesn't travel as much (but it's like going from an insane amount to 'a lot' lol). We'll see how it works out, it's harder for it to smack my soft top as well now..

here is the tweeter from through the windshield (forgot my keys when i went out there lol). it's just 1"x 1/8"? aluminum strip. Super easy to bend and work with (same thing my rock lights are mounted with, i've kept from breaking them twice now because the mounts bend before the lights break).

Looks good Mike! I forgot that you have a roll bar close to the dash as part of your cage. I was thinking you mounted them up high somewhere. LOL.
