Just ordered a $50 tap for my "diy tie rod" idea. Sure hope it's the right size, or I'll have a fancy paper weight!

Randy, Roger and I fab'd up a steering stabilizer relocation bracket for my JK. That bigger stabilizer took the slop out of my steering, showing me just how out of what my steering wheel is now. I need to set the toe ASAP!

Worked like a champ. Drove a little better with the bigger stabilizer on there (or not damaged one . No issues or crazy noises. I may re-torque things when i get to work today. Trac-bar and such... R&R's custom fab plate seems to be holdin up

Default Tie rod adjustment (not lenght but droop)

Don't know if anyone noticed but my Rock Krawler HD tie rod has had quite a bit of droop to it. Well I finally fooled around with it this weekend and I was able to get it to what looks like proper height. (This probably doesn't come as anything spectacular to report but I'm posting it anyways)

Here's how it looked before. Notice it's positioned below the word "Solid" in my Solid diff cover:

Here it is now:

Testing the flex on my driveway, making sure nothing's binding after re-adjusting the SS:

SS between the track bar and drag link at full turn driver:

Iam thinking 2 more weeks.....I may push it though. Once the wife is here it may be top on all summer for the heat.

Are you guys serious? This is just the beginning of topless season for me. I find the heat to be much more bearable with the top off. The hard top gets way too hot. I've got to get some of those insulators that someone makes on here.
