I'm ordering a or-fab front cage probably tomorrow. Thinking I will go with a rock hard rear 2-door add on for it. Keeping an eye open for a place to get the parts powdercoated white if anyone has a hook-up for powdercoating!

I remember my brother had some parts powdercoated for his old E36 M3 when he had it and the place did an outstanding job at a fair price. I'll see if he remembers the name of the place when I talk to him tonight.

All the rain got to my high lift...
A little sandpaper, some Rustoleum primer, and a coat of Rustoleum black gloss...looks like a new jack.

What color paint and why type of gear oil are you going to go with?

i am running mobil1 full synthetic 75w-90 gear lube. beer:

i painted the whole cover in self etching primer.
painted the square red (shot everything, no masking)
masked the box off and shot the whole cover black a few times
removed the tape, took a sanding disc on a die grinder and ground down the red paint and made the metal smooth on the "r" and box.
cleared it all

i'm diggin the bare metal on top, looks pretty cool.

came out good enough to stick under my jeep and drag over rocks!

cell phone pic sucks

Pics?

I setup my deflators (finally!), they're shittybilts, but it's better than nothin. Took forever to fine tune them as best i could..but wasn't really in a hurry. While i was doing that i niteshaded my front amber lights. Went a lick darker than i wanted to, but i'll live. I think it looks better.
