i got it in my rubi... all i had to do was pull the front driveshaft sorry, i had to say it. i did pull the front shaft, waiting to get an aftermarket and i do have 2wd low as a result, but a real answer to your question, nope not yet. You could convert to lock out hubs and just unlock the hubs

Well my buddy and I just came back from Imogene Pass in Co. He has a XJ with a 2wd Low conversion and it was nice. We didn't really need 4wd but the low range was nice going up and down. And when I made tight turns I had some binding, while he did not.

The downside to 2wd Lo, especially in a Rubi wit the 4:1 transfer case, is that you can put a whole helluva lot of torque to the back axle. I've seen rear ends grenade twice because of this; guys were in 4wd Lo but had forgot to lock their hubs. I think having it in 4wd Lo spreads the torque and is gentler on the drivetrain.

Where exactly would the 2LO position fall in the shift pattern?
2HI, 2LO, N, 4HI, 4LO
2HI, N, 4HI, 2LO, 4LO
2HI, N, 4HI, 4LO, 2LO
or other?
