I have had a recurring problem since I purchased my Jeep (AKA- The Colonel) new in '08. Oh yes, the dreaded door wiring harness. So this time, I managed to break off both of the tabs on the wiring harness disconnect. The red tab slides are still there. However, the ones that you press are gone (thinking the FL heat weakened them). Anywho, now that the tabs are gone, I can't disconnect the harness. My question is if any of you have any tricks/ tips to get the doors off. There is never enough wire included to pull the contraption down to eye level and inspect what function the tab serves. Is it a depress on the end to create leverage on the other end or what? HELP!
