On my 2008 jeep rubicon unlimited my headlights turn themselves on and off when jeep is parked?

My 2011 JK sport left the lights on when I turned the switch off the other day. When I cycled the switch on & off again, they went out. Operation has been normal since them. This same issue was also occasionally present on a 2005 Ram pick up that I had. I suspect a sticky solenoid, but I never actually tracked down the source of the issue. I'll be paying attention to the responses you get.
