Angry left rear running light not working

2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. I recently bought some aftermarket led tail and turn signal lights. the front left doesnt seem to want to stay connected unless pressed very hard...
When changing the back, when I pulled the left rear, there was a big tangled mess of wires which led to the hitch area, which was also a mess. I removed all wires that were spliced in and left just the factory wiring. Now the left rear running light does not work, I put the factory light back in, still not working. I did find a few broken wires going from the left rear light area going up the driver side frame rail...is that where the wire comes from that feeds the running light in the rear? Or is it fed from the right rear? Ive been on this forum and seraching this out for weeks. Also, whenever I open a door, the right rear light flashes really fast....clue? Please help..

Yes I'm pretty sure the left rear wiring runs up the driver's side until right by the driver's seat, then takes a right turn and heads across the cabin to join the passenger side harness that goes up to the firewall. When I was just installing a backup camera in mine I wanted a reverse signal up closer to the front and I found it up there but it didn't go all the way to the front, it crossed over like I said.

As for the light flashing fast that's sometimes a result of the LEDs being designed for lower voltage and without a relay or voltage regulator they get overloaded and flash faster than normal. Weird that it would only do it with a door open though, not sure what that's all about.

Id try to clean up any broken wires, if u have a voltage meter maybe you can test some things. As said, JKS' were not designed for leds, unless u have a proper harness that comes with them, or add a resistor
