Default Jeep Rubicon 392

Anyone have any valid current information on when Toledo plant north is going to begin building the 392? Wondering if the shortage of semiconductor chips will impact the start date.

Thanks for your reply. I expected the new Rubicon would be out in January. I'll be patient

The other dealer probably only was allocated 1 .. Check this dealer... he is a very big volume dealer.. https://www.davesmith.com/
Not sure how far he is from your local.. but they pick up at the airport..

To pay that much over the ridiculous list is financial waste. I know the dealer list here in Canada is going to be around $90k according to my sources and they do not plan to overlist the price tag. Ford dealers here committed hari kari by doing that with the 2006-8 Shelby GT500's. Personally I would prefer FCA just offer the 5.7 in the Jeep with torque upped and HP turned down a bit.

Default Turbo diesel....

Well I am on a 392 build list now. But I took the opportunity to drive the turbo diesel jeep. (I can't see me driving an electric motor jeep. The whine would kill me.) But I will say the diesel motor was impressive. Very good performance. Just not a V8. Plus something like 24mpg

Default Jeep Rubicon 392 MSRP

What are the dealers in your area asking for the Jeep Rubicon 392?
Over or under MSRP?

I stand corrected. The large dealer here in Calgary is saying approx $75k CDN list base price. Sales are really slow here, dealers are crammed with Jeeps so good deals. I don't need one as I would look at it as a 4x4 go in the bush and beat the $hit out of the paint anyway.

I remember when the Vipers first came out. I went out to the only dealership in my area that had one at the time. It was roped off and had a $200k mark up. I laughed and asked a salesman about it. He aid they did it to keep it in the showroom an to get people to come in and look at it
