Default I want to relocate the O/D button!

I hate that the O/D button is located in front of my shifter...I'd like to add another one or relocate it to between my two center air vents. I have no idea how I would do this...any suggestions?

The easiest way is to wire an additional "momentary on" switch in parallel with the original one. That way the original one remains functional.

I've been contemplating the same mod, but now I hit the button and don't even realize it.

I used a shift knob from a 2004 Mercury Marauder, nice and handy location. It took some time to dial it in but well worth it in my book

Also you can use what ever momentary switch you want and just put in in parallel with the stock switch. Bingo no more reaching to drop down from OD

It would also be nice if the switch work the opposite way. If you had to use the switch to turn the od on.

It turns OD on as well as turn it off just like the stock switch

I agree with this. I keep mine off more than on.

You may want to look for the OD button out of a 1994-up dodge ram pickup. I had a 95 back in the day and it was in the dash just to the right of the selector...it was 3/4 by 3/4 square if I remember correctly.

I love the idea of switching the od button up to the shifter knob. 69mach1. I would like more info on switching to the marauder shift knob Can I get more info?
