Just curious, did anyone's tires work better on the ice than the rest? You 3 are running about the best 3 types out there.

A good spotter makes the difference so thanks for doing that so well. And for having all the goodies and patience for my winching incident.
You had an "incident" huh? Lol. Looking at the pics make me jealous! When's the next time?

That stinks on both accounts. I really like the MT's he had and was thinking of getting their baja mtz someday.

Sorry to hear the winch didn't work out. Thankfully you weren't alone. And didn't you just say in another thread that you needed to go get stuck? Haha, be careful what you ask for...

What happen to your winch? What model do you have?

Mud tires are horrible on ice, period. Along with being horrible on hard pack snow as well. If any of them had been running actual snow tires, they probably would have done better than the mud tires (on the ice). But typically, unless you have studs, rubber and ice don't mix.

I realize that, I was just curious if one out did the others. I'm headed to Nebraska soon so I'm trying to figure out the best tire for both worlds. I know mud tires don't do well on ice/wet rock and all terrains don't do well in mud/deep snow, but still want to find the best tire for me so I was curious.

Smittybilt xrc8. Zinger said it was smoking and then it stopped working. I paid for a 3 year warrantee so hopefully they'll replace a 3 day old winch. :(

True. Nothing but studs would have worked.
